Voices for Life launches with a newly composed wellbeing song sung by children from Bath & Wiltshire
To mark the launch of the charity, an online video was released in support of Children’s Mental Health Week. The video, introduced by world renowned conductor and composer, John Rutter, and features a recently formed virtual children’s choir formed from children across Bath and Wiltshire singing a new piece of music composed by Jools Scott and Sue Curtis.
This year the theme for Children’s Mental Health Week is ‘Express Yourself’, relating directly to the Voices for Life mission of enabling children to express their feelings and thoughts through music.
At Voices for Life, the emotional wellbeing of children is of prime importance. We support the positive mental health and wellbeing in children through our integrated confidence coaching and singing programmes and aim to support as many children as we can through this pandemic and beyond.
Voices for Life has been formed in response to the mental health needs of primary school children to inspire children to be happy and confident through the provision of high-quality specialised singing and confidence coaching programmes for primary school children.
