Our History

The vision behind the charity is to inspire children to be happy and confident through the delivery of music and singing programmes.  The design of Voices for Life music and wellbeing programmes is to provide an accessible and creative way for children to enhance their confidence, wellbeing and self-esteem that is compatible with life during and beyond coronavirus.

Voices for Life launched in February 2021 with the release of an online video in support of Children’s Mental Health week.  The video is introduced by world renowned conductor and composer, John Rutter, and features a recently formed virtual children’s choir with children across Bath and Wiltshire who premiere the Voices for Life Wellbeing Song.

The aim of Voices for Life is to expand the programmes in primary schools across the UK by training and arranging for other professionals to deliver the programme.  This will enable a sustainable increase in the number of primary school children being helped to grow into confident young adults.
