Our History

Voices for Life was established during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 with the vision to inspire children to be happy and confident through the delivery of singing, confidence and wellbeing projects, providing an accessible and creative way for children to enhance their confidence and self-esteem. 

February 2021: The Launch

John Rutter introduced the premiere of the Voices for Life Wellbeing Song by Jools Scott and Sue Curtis performed by the Voices for Life Virtual Children’s Choir.

May 2021: The Mayor of Bath

The Mayor of Bath becomes a Patron of Voices for Life. 

May – October 2021: Stardust, A Musical Journey

The first Voices for Life Singing and Wellbeing project took place place with 250 children from primary schools in the Bath and Wiltshire area. All the children came together in October for two exciting performances in Bath Abbey of Stardust by Jools Scott and Sue Curtis and accompanied by Bristol Ensemble.

August 2021: Mission to the Moon, Summer School

The first Voices for Life Summer School took place over 5 days in North Somerset.

December 2021: Mission to the Moon, Bath Abbey

The first Voices for Life Mission to the Moon one day workshop wellbeing project took place place in Bath Abbey under the moon!

 The future aim of Voices for Life is to expand the projects in primary schools across the UK to increase the number of primary school children being helped to grow into confident young adults.
