Our Trustees

The trustees volunteer their time to lead and support Voices for Life.  They are passionate about inspiring children to be happy and confident through music and bring a range of skills and experience to help lead our charity.

Peter Martin (Chair)

Peter Martin, now retired, was a management consultant during his working life and travelled incessantly through the UK and to the Middle East and Europe. His travels made him too unreliable to make binding commitments in the voluntary sector, but since his retirement he has been Chairman of U3A in Bath, Bath Choral Society and is a local Parish Councillor. This is his first appointment to an organisation involved with wellbeing.

Peter is married with two children and grandchildren, spends much of lock down reading, assisting his wife with gardening and trying to get in a daily walk. He has Masters degrees from LSE and Bristol University.

Tessa began her career as a solicitor before founding her own business providing career and confidence services to help individuals improve self-esteem and confidence. Tessa is also a children’s coach with a wealth of experience working with children.
