Let’s ‘Raise the Roof!’
Celebrating Voices for Life’s fifth anniversary with jazz musician, songwriter and broadcaster Jamie Cullum
To celebrate Voices for Life’s anniversary, we called on choirs, schools and communities to raise £10,000 to give 500 children from under-served communities the chance to take part in our singing/ wellbeing projects and performances.
Your response blew us away. With your incredible support, we reached the target early – yet Raise the Roof has continued to grow, uniting communities, leaders, schools and choirs to inspire the next generation to be happy and confident through music.
You have already helped 500 children find their voice, and we are so grateful. As we head into Autumn, let’s bring the confidence boost and connection of singing to even more children. Every additional donation will help us reach more children from under-served communities.

‘Singing is really good for my mental health. It’s a great way to express your feelings and emotions.’

“At The Paragon School, we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience the joy and benefits of music and singing. Supporting Raise the Roof was a natural choice for us, as it aligns with our commitment to nurturing wellbeing and creativity in young people.”
